What is tricalcium phosphate?
Tricalcium phosphate is a calcium-phosphate compound used in foods, supplements and dental formulations. Calcium and phosphate are also central mineral components of tooth structure, which is why calcium-phosphate chemistry is relevant to dentistry.
However, a chemical's relevance to tooth mineral does not mean every product containing it has been shown to remineralize enamel.
Why dental-product context can be misleading
Some professionally studied toothpastes, varnishes or other dental products use specific calcium-phosphate technologies under controlled formulations. A chewable supplement with tricalcium phosphate as an “other ingredient” is not automatically equivalent to those products.
Delivery, concentration, pH, contact time and companion ingredients influence dental-material behavior.

It is accurate to say the current label lists tricalcium phosphate. It is not appropriate to claim that this fact proves ProDentim rebuilds enamel, reverses cavities or replaces fluoride-based preventive care.
